TO FIND :

x and y

SOLUTION :

Angle QRS = y (Alternate interior angles)

60° = 60°

Now here,

y + x = 180° ( Linear pair )

60° + x = 180°

x = 180° - 60°

x = 120°

Therefore, the value of x = 120° and y = 60°

GIVEN :

Angle RSD = 65°

AB //CD and PQ is a transversal.

TO FIND : x and y

SOLUTION :

Angle RSD = y ( Corresponding angles )

65° = y

Now here,

y = x ( Vertically opposite angles)

65° = x

Therefore, the value of x = 65° and y = 65°..
