In ∆ABC

x°+x°+84°=180. [angle sum property of ∆]

2x°=180°-84°

x°=96/2

=48°

angle ACB+ ACD =180°

48°+ACD=180°

ACD=132°

angle CAD = angle ADC.

In ∆ACD. [ As it is isosceles ∆]

y°+y°+132°=180°. [angle sum property of ∆]

2y°=180°-132°

y°=48/2

=24°
