Here is the answer.

Rectangle has the "equal opposite sides" parallel and equal in length.
This is the very basic property of rectangle.
Here we have given two adjacent sides of the rectangle with the forms of equation and also we have two other with values.
As the opposite sides will be equal so,
3x + 2y = 29 _________(i)
&
5x - y = 18 __________(ii)
Solving above two equations as solved in the attachment, we get
x = 5 units
y = 7 units
