Find the values of x and y which satisfies the equations a(x+y)=b(x-y)=2ab​

let a=(x-y)

and b=(x+y)

2(x-y)(x+y)=2(

2( {x {}^{2} }^{} + xy  - xy - y {}^{2} )

2(x {}^{2}  - y  {}^{2} )

(x - y) {}^{2}  = 2

(x - y) =  \sqrt{2}
