given , A(2,0) and B(-1,x) [A(X1,y1),,,,,B(X2,y2)]

and AB= 5 unit

we know that:

√(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2 = AB

(-1-2)^2+(x-0)^2 = 5^2

(-3)^2+(x)^2 = 25

9+x^2 = 25

x^2 = 25-9

x^2 = 16

x = √16

x= 4 answer
