HEY MATE HERE IS THE ANSWER ✌️

Step-by-step explanation:

4x + y= 16 --------------(1)

And

x+4y=34

Multiplying both sides by 4

4x+16y= 136----------------(2)

Sub (1) from(2)

4x+16y-4x-y= 136-16

15y=120

Y=120/15

Y=8

So putting in (1)

X= 2

x+y = 2+8= 10

x-y = 2-8 = -6
