Answer:

y=40°(alternate angle)

w=60°(corresponding angle)

Therefore,

w+z+y=180°(linear pair)

=>60°+z+40°=180°

=>z=180°-100°

=>z=80°

x+y=180°(co interior angles)

=>x=180°-40°

=>x=140°
