given vector is 2i - j
so it's magnitude is = √(2^2 + (-1)^2) = √5
so unit vector along it is = 2/√5 i - 1/√5 j
hence vector of magnitude 5 parallel to it = 5 * (2/√5 i - 1/√5 j)
= 2√5 i - √5 j
so it's magnitude is = √(2^2 + (-1)^2) = √5
so unit vector along it is = 2/√5 i - 1/√5 j
hence vector of magnitude 5 parallel to it = 5 * (2/√5 i - 1/√5 j)
= 2√5 i - √5 j
