KE=1/2mv^2
20=(1/2)×0.1×v^2
(20×2)÷0.1=v^2
40÷0.1=v^2
400=v^2
so, v=√400
so, v=20m/s.

Answer:

  • Final velocity of the body = 20m/s

Explanation:

Given:

  • Kinetic energy = 20 J

  • Mass of the body = 100 g (0.1 kg)

Tofind:

  • Final velocity of the body

Calculation:

using kinetic energy formula

>> K.E = 1/2 mv^2

where,

  • K.E = Kinetic energy

  • m = mass

  • v = velocity

>> 0.1*v^2 = 40

>> v^2 = 400

>> v = √400

>> v = 20 m/s

Final velocity of the body is 20m/s. \:
