GIVEN :

diameter of cylinder = 10cm

height of cylinder = 20 cm

TO FIND :

volume of cylinder

FORMULA USED:

1) VOLUME OF CYLINDER = πr²h

[ where => r = radius

h = height ]

2) radius = diameter / 2

SOLUTION :

=> radius = diameter / 2

=> radius = 10 / 2

=> radius = 5 cm

=> VOLUME OF CYLINDER = πr²h

=> VOLUME OF CYLINDER = π×5²× 20

=> VOLUME OF CYLINDER = 25×20π

=> VOLUME OF CYLINDER = 500π cm³

ANSWER : 500π cm³

Given :-

• Diameter of a cylinder is 10cm.

• Height of cylinder is 20cm.

To Find :-

• Volume of the cylinder.

Answer :-

radius = diameter/2

=> 10/2 = 5cm

Volume of a cylinder = πr²h

=> 22/7 × 5 × 5 × 20
