Answer:

Solution-

Height of the cylinder=140cm

Base diameter of the cylinder=10.5cm

Radius of the cylinder=Diameter/2

=10.5cm/2

=5.25cm

Volume of the cylinder=pi×r^2×h

=3.14×5.25cm×5.25cm×140cm

=3.14×27.5625sq.cm×140cm

=86.54625sq.cm×140cm

=12116.475cubic cm

Curved surface area of cylinder=Total surface area excluding the bases

=Lateral surface area of cylinder

=2×pi×r×h

=2×3.14×5.25cm×140cm

=6.28×5.25cm×140cm

=32.97cm×140cm

=4615.8sq.cm

Ans.:12116.475cubic cm and 4615.8sq.cm are the volume and curved surface area of the cylinder, respectively.
