Given -

TSA of cylinder = 968 cm²

Radius = 7 cm

Also,

TSA = 2πr ( h + r )

•°•

968 = 2 × 22 / 7 × 7 ( h + 7 )

968 = 44 ( h + 7 )

h + 7 = 22

h = 22 - 7

h = 15 cm

Now,

Volume of cylinder -

= πr²h

= 22 / 7 × ( 7 )² × 15

= 22 × 7 × 15

= 2310 cm³

Answer:

15 cm and 2310 cu.cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Radius of the cylinder=7 cm

TSA of the cylinder=968 sq.cm

2πr(r+h)=968

2×22/7 ×7(7+h)=968

44(7+h)=968

7+h=968/44

7+h=22

h=22-7

h=15 cm

Volume of the cylinder=π r square h

=22/7 × 7×7×15

=22×7×15

=2310 cu.cm
