QUESTION:

find the volume and surface area of asphere of radius 2.1.

ANSWER:

FORMULA USED :

volume of sphere =

 \frac{4}{3}  \times \pi \times  {radius}^{3}

surface area of sphere =

4 \times \pi \times  {radius}^{2}

given :

radius = 2.1 CM.

VOLUME =

 \frac{4}{3}  \times  \frac{22}{7} \times  {2.1}^{3}   {cm}^{3}  \\ 38.808 {cm}^{3}

surface area

4 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {2.1}^{2}  \\ 55.44 {cm}^{2}

Volume of a sphere = 4/3 π r^(3)

r = 2.1

Volume = 4/3 π ×2.1^(3)

= 4/3 π ×9.261

= 12.348π

Surface area of a sphere = 4π r^(2)

r = 2.1

Surface area = 4π× 2.1^(2)

= 4π× 4.41

= 17.64 π

Hope this will help....
