Find the volume and the total surface area of a cuboid whose dimension are 2m, 80cm, 60cm

• Volume = 960000cm³

Solution :-

• Length = 2m = 200cm

Breadth = 80cm

Height = 60cm

We know that the formula of volume of the cuboid is

length × breadth × height

=> 200 × 80 × 60

=> 960000 cm³

★ We know that the formula of total surface area of the cuboid is

2 (lb + bh + lh)

=> 2(200×80 + 80×60 + 60×200)

=> 2(16000 + 4800 + 12000)

=> 2(32800)

=> 65600 cm²

Hence, the volume and total surface area of the cuboid are 960000cm³ and 65600cm² respectively.
