Find the volume , lateral ( curved ) surface area and total surface area of the cylinder whose dimensions are radius of base = 7 cm and height= 25cm.​

Given :

height and radius of the base of cylinder are 15 cm and 7 cm respectively.

Curved surface area

= 2πrh unit square

= 2 × \frac{22}{7} × 7 × 15 cm²

= 660 cm²

Total surface area

= 2πr(r+h) unit square

= 2 × \frac{22}{7} × 7 × (7+15) cm²

= 968 cm²

Hence,

Curved surface area

= 660 cm²

Total Surface Area

= 968 cm²
