Answer

L=24m

B=0.25m

H=6m

Total Surface Area=2(lb+bh+lh)

=2(24×0.25+0.25×6+6×24)m

=2(6+1.5+144)

=2×151.5

=303 m

Lateral Surface Area=2(l+b)×h

=2(24+0.25)×6

=2×24.25×6

=291 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Total surface area of the cuboid is 1788m² and lateral surface area of the cuboid is 588m².

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Length of cuboid = 24 m

Breadth of cuboid = 25m

Height of cuboid = 6m

To find :-

Total surface area (TSA) and Lateral surface area (LSA) of cuboid.

Solution :-

Formula used :

{\boxed{\sf{TSA\:of\: cuboid=2(l\times\:b+b\times\:h+l\times\:h)}}}

TSAofcuboid=2(l×b+b×h+l×h)

{\boxed{\sf{LSA\:of\: cuboid=2h(l+b)}}}

LSAofcuboid=2h(l+b)

Here,

l = length

b = breadth

h = height

TSA of cuboid,

= 2(l×b+b×h+l×h)

= 2(894)m²

= 2 × 894 m²

= 1788m²

Total surface area of cuboid is 1788m².

LSA of cuboid,

= 2h(l+b)

= 2h×49m²

= 2×6×49m²

= 588m²

Lateral surface area of cuboid is 588m².
