Given :-

Radius of cone, r = 2

★ Height of cone, h = 5 cm

To Find :-

What's the volume of the cone?

Solution :-

As we know that , the volume of cone is given by

{\underline{\boxed{\sf{\blue{Volume_{(cone)} = \dfrac{1}{3} \times \pi r^2 h}}}}}

Substituting the given values, we get

Volume of cone

= ⅓ × πr²h

= ⅓ × 3.1416 × (2)² ×5

= 20.944 cm³

Hence, volume of cone is = 20.944 cm³

Extra Information:-

✮ Surface area of cone

= πr ( r + √( h² + r² )

✮ Radius of cone = √ 3 ( V/πh)

✮ Slant height of cone = √ ( r² + h² )

✮ Height of cone = 3 ( V/ πr² )

✮ Base area of cone = πr²

✮ Lateral area of cone = πr √ ( h² + r² )

✮ Volume of cone = ⅓ × πr²h

Given ,

The radius of base of cone is 2 cm and perpendicular hight is 5 cm

We know that , the volume of a cone is given by

 \boxed{ \sf{Volume =  \frac{1}{3}  \times \pi {(r)}^{2} h}}

Thus ,

Volume = 1/3 × 22/7 × (2)² × 5

Volume = (88 × 5)/21

Volume = 4.1 × 5

Volume = 20.5 cm³ (approx)

Therefore ,

The volume of cone is 20.5 cm³
