Answer:

if you have the base area as you said 6cm^2 and height of 8cm as mention above

so by using the formula of volume of cuboid = B× H × W

B×W=area of base

area of base × H

6×8

48cm^3

Given :-

  • Base area of cuboid = 6 cm²
  • Height of cuboid = 8 cm

To Find :-

  • Volume of cuboid = ?

Formula used :-

  • Base area of cuboid = Length × Breadth
  • Volume of cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height .

Solution :-

given that,

→ Base area of cuboid = 6 cm²

So,

→ Length × Breadth = 6 cm² ---------- Equation (1)

now,

→ Height of cuboid = 8 cm ----------- Equation (2)

then,

→ Volume of cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height

→ Volume of cuboid = (Length × Breadth) × Height

putting values of Equation (1) and Equation (2) from above in RHS,

→ Volume of cuboid = 6 × 8

→ Volume of cuboid = 48 cm³ (Ans.)

Hence, Volume of cuboid is equal to 48 cubic cm .

Extra :-

→ Total surface area of cuboid = 2(Length × Breadth + Breadth × Height + Height × Length)

→ Diagonal of cuboid = √[(Length)² + (Breadth)² + (Height)²]
