find the volume of a cuboid if the surface area is 208sq c.m and the ratio of the length, breadth and height is 2:3:4​

Answer:

Let the length(L) , breadth (B) , Height (H) be 2x , 3x and. 4x respectively ,

Now ,

TSA = 2(LB + BH +LH)

or , 208 = 2(2x * 3x + 3x * 4x + 2x * 4x)

or , 104 = 6x² + 12x² + 8x²

or , 104 = 26x²

or , x² = 4

•°• x = 2

Now ,

Length = 2*2 = 4cm

Breadth = 3*2 = 6cm

Height = 4 * 2 = 8 cm

Again ,

Volume = L * B * H = 4 * 6 * 8 = 192 cm³ ans
