Find the volume of a cuboid whose dimensions are:
(a) length = 15 cm, width = 12 cm and height = 8 cm​

Given

  • Length of the cuboid = 15cm
  • Width of the cuboid = 12cm
  • Height of the cuboid = 8cm

To find

  • Volume of the cuboid.

Solution

  • As we have dimensions of the cuboid. Using the formula of Volume of Cuboid.

Volume = l × b × h

  • Putting the values

→ Volume = 15 × 12 × 8

→ Volume = 15 × 96

Volume = 1,440cm³

Hence,

  • Volume of the cuboid is 1,440cm³.

→ Volume of cube = a³

→ Volume of cone = ⅓ πr²h

→ Volume of cylinder = πr²h

→ Volume of sphere = 4/3 πr³

→ Volume of hemisphere = 2/3 πr³
