volume of the cylinder =πr²h

r=7 cm h=50 cm

So,

V=22/7×7×7×50

V=22×7×50

V=7700 cm³

Answer:

Given :-

  • A cylinder whose radius is 7 m and height is 50 m.

To Find :-

  • What is the volume of a cylinder.

Formula Used :-

\bigstar Volume Of Cylinder Formula :

\mapsto \sf\boxed{\bold{\pink{Volume_{(Cylinder)} =\: {\pi}r^2h}}}

where,

  • π = Pie or 22/7
  • r = Radius
  • h = Height

Solution :-

Given :

  • Radius = 7 m
  • Height = 50 m

According to the question by using the formula we get,

\implies \sf Volume_{(Cylinder)} =\: \dfrac{22}{7} \times (7)^2 \times 50

\implies \sf Volume_{(Cylinder)} =\: \dfrac{22}{7} \times (7 \times 7) \times 50

\implies \sf Volume_{(Cylinder)} =\: \dfrac{22}{7} \times 49 \times 50

\implies \sf Volume_{(Cylinder)} =\: \dfrac{22}{\cancel{7}} \times {\cancel{2450}}

\implies \sf Volume_{(Cylinder)} =\: 22 \times 350

\implies \sf\bold{\red{Volume_{(Cylinder)} =\: 7700\: cm^2}}

\therefore The volume of a cylinder is 7700 cm² .
