Answer :-

  • Volume of Cuboid = 60 cubic cm.
  • Volume of Cube = 512 cubic cm.

Explanation :-

(i)

Volume of Cuboid :- l × b × h.

➞ Volume = 5 × 4 × 3.

➞ Volume = 20 × 3.

Volume = 60 cubic cm.

(ii)

Volume of Cube :- (side)³

➞ Volume = (8)³

➞ Volume = 8 × 8 × 8.

➞ Volume = 64 × 8.

Volume = 512 cubic cm.

Some Formulae to learn :-

  • T.S.A. of Cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl).

  • L.S.A. of Cuboid = 2(l + b)h.

  • T.S.A. of Cube = 6(side)²

  • L.S.A. of Cube = 4(side)²

  • Volume of Cube = (side)³

  • Volume of Cuboid = l × b × h.
