Here is the solution:

----------------------------------------

Find the area of 1 face:

Total surface of a cube = 486 cm²

A cube has 6 faces.

6 faces =  486 cm²

1 face = 486 ÷ 6 = 81 cm²

Find the length of 1 side:

Area = Length²

Length² = 81

Length = √81

Length = 9 cm

Find the volume:

Volume = length³

Volume = 9³

Volume = 729 cm³

Answer: The volume is 729 cm³

HI Dude.....Gud mrng. ....

Surface area of cube = 6 edge^2486
486= 6edge^2
486/6 = edge^2
81 = edge^2
√81 = √edge^2
9 cm = edge

Volume = edge^3
= 9^3
= 9 x 9 x 9
= 729 cm cube

HOPE THIS HELPS....
