Solution -

  • We have two cubes with different dimensions and need to find their volumes.

For finding volume of a cube, we use

\large{\bf{\longmapsto{\boxed{\pink{Volume_{(Cube)} = a^3}}}}}

⠀⠀(a) a = 3.5 cm

\tt\dashrightarrow{Volume = a^3}

\tt\dashrightarrow{Volume = (3.5)^3}

\bf\dashrightarrow{Volume = 42.875\: cm^3}

⠀⠀(b) a = 5 m

\tt\dashrightarrow{Volume = a^3}

\tt\dashrightarrow{Volume = (5)^3}

\bf\dashrightarrow{Volume = 125\: m^3}

Concept:-

Here we have given that the sides of the cube is 3.5 cm and 5 m so to find out the volume of the cube we will use the formula.

                   ____________

Question 1:-

  • Volume = a³

  • ➝ Volume = ( 3.5 )³

  • ➝ Volume = 3.5 × 3.5 × 3.5

  • ➝ Volume = 42.875 cm³

. ° . The volume of the cube is 42.875 cm³

                        ____________

Question 2:-

  • Volume = a³

  • ➝ Volume = ( 5 )³

  • ➝ Volume = 5 × 5 × 5

  • ➝ Volume = 125 m³

. ° . The volume of the cube is 125 m³
