then,the volume of cube = ?

Formula: Volume of cube = a^3

Here a = side of cube = x+2 cm

Volume of cube = (x+2)^3

(a+b)^3 = a^3+3a^2b+3ab^2+b^3

Volume of cube = x^3+3(x)^2(2)+3(x)(2)^2+(2)^3

Therefore the volume of cube is x^3+6x^2+12x+8.
