 {\red\bigstar }\bf Question

Find the volume of each brick used to construct a Wall of volume 500 metre cube if 1000 bricks are used in the wall.

 \large \red{ \tt Answer}

 \colorbox{lime}{ \tt \: Volume  \: of  \: Each  \:  Brick = 0.5  \: m³}

Solution

It is given that Volume of wall = 500 m³

Since , 1000 bricks are used to fill the construct wall without leaving any spare space

This means that

Volume of 1000 bricks = Volume of wall = 500 m³

Now , on using the Unitary Method

 \tt volume \: of \:1000 \: bricks = 500 \: m ^{3}  \\ \ : \implies   \rm volume \: of \: 1 \: brick \:  =   \cancel\dfrac{500}{1000}  =  \dfrac{1}{2}  \\   \bf= 0.5 {m}^{3}

Conclusion

The required volume of each block is

0.5 m³.
