Given :-

  • Dimensions of cuboid = 20 cm × 15 cm × 8 cm
  • Cube of edge 8 cm.

To Find :-

  • Volume.

Solution :-

Firstly let's find Volume of cuboid :

  • \boxed{\bf Volume\: of \:cuboid = Length \times Breadth \times Height}

 \tt Volume = 20 \times 15 \times 8\\ \\

 \tt Volume = 300 \times 8\\ \\

 \underline {\bf Volume = 2400 {cm}^{3}}

Now,

  • Let's find Volume of cube .

  • \boxed{\bf Volume\: of \:cube ={Edge}^{3}}

 \tt Volume =  {Edge}^{3} \\ \\

 \tt Volume =  {8}^{3}\\ \\

 \tt Volume = 8 \times 8 \times 8\\ \\

 \underline{\bf Volume =  {512 \: cm}^{3}}

\underline{ \underline{ \sf \maltese\:{Given:-}}}

  • Dimensions of the cuboid = 20 cm × 15 cm × 8 cm
  • Edge of the cube = 8 cm

\underline{ \underline{ \sf \maltese \:{To  \: find:-}}}

  • The volume of the cuboid
  • The volume of the cube

\underline{ \underline{ \sf \maltese \:{Solution:-}}}

We know:

  • \boxed{\rm{Volume ~ of ~ cuboid = Length × breadth × height}}

Volume of the cuboid = 20 × 15 × 8

⇒ Volume of the cuboid = 2400

Volume of the cuboid = 2400 cm³

We know:–

  • \boxed{\rm{Volume ~ of ~cube = Edge^3}}

Volume of cube = 8³

Volume of cube = 8 × 8 × 8

Volume of cube = 512

Volume of cube = 512 cm³
