Volume of cube with edge 4cm=64 cubic cm.
4 \times 4 \times 4 = 64

Edge of new cube (when doubled) =8cm
4 \times 2 = 8

Volume of new cube=512 cubic cm
8 \times 8 \times 8 = 512
Therefore,
512 \div 64 = 8

So, the volume of new cube will be 8 times more than that of the earlier cube with edge 4cm.
