Surface area of sphere = 4πr²
616 cm² = 4πr²
616 / 4π = r²
√49 = r => radius = 7 cm
Now, in expanding eq (i)
Volume of sphere = ⅓ × 4πr² × r
Volume of sphere = ⅓ × 616 cm² × 7 cm
Volume of sphere = 1437.3 cm³
Hence volume of sphere is 1437.3 cm³.
