Here is your ans:-.
a) let,
length = 16cm
breadth = 12cm
height = 8cm
Volume of cuboid = l × b× h
= 16×12×8
= 1536cm3
b) let,
length =14 m
breadth = 8m
height = 2.5m
volume of a cuboid= l×b×h
= 14×8×2.5
= 280m3
or
= 28000cm3
Hope it helps..!

HERE is YOUR ANSWER -:
a) l=16
b=12
h=8
VOLUME of CUBOID=2(lb+bh+hl)
putting this formula
2(16x12+12x8+8x16)
=2(192+96+128)
=2x416
=832cm^3
b)l=14
b=8
h=2.5
VOLUME OF CUBOID =2(lb+bh+hl)
putting this formula
2(14x8+8x2.5+2.5x14)
=2x167
=334m^3
(if you want to write this volume in cm^3) =334x100=33400cm^2
