Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

the cylinder whose base area is 20 cm² and height is 10 cc

To find :-

Find the volume of the cylinder.

Solution :-

Base area of the given cylinder =20 cm²

Base of the cylinder =Circle

Area of the circle =πr² sq.units

πr²=20 cm²----(1)

Height of the cylinder (h)=10 cm

Volume of the cylinder = πr²h cubic units

=>Volume =Base area ×Height

=>Volume = 20×10

=>Volume=200 cm³

Answer :-

Volume of the given Cylinder= 200 cm³

Used formula:-

  • Base area of the cylinder=Area of the circle = πr² sq.units
  • Volume of the cylinder=πr²h cubic units
  • Volume of the cylinder=Base area ×height
