Given,

Radius of the Cylinder = 3cm

Height of the Cylinder = 5cm

We know that,

Volume of Cylinder = πr²h

==> 22/7 × 3 × 3 × 5

==> 22/7 × 9 × 5

==> 22/7 × 45

==> 990/7

==> 141.42 cm³

Therefore, the volume of Cylinder is 141.43cm³.

QUESTION :-

Find the volume of the cylinder whose radius is 3cms and height is 5cm.

GIVEN :-

• r = 3cm

• h = 5cm

Find :-

• volume of cylinder.

SOLUTION :-

\rightarrow \rm{Volume\: of \:cylinder = \:πr^2h}

\rightarrow \rm{ Volume \: of \: cylinder = \:3.14 × (3)^2 × 5}

\rightarrow \rm{ Volume \: of \: cylinder = 3.14 × 9 × 5}

\rightarrow \rm{\boxed{ Volume \: of \: cylinder = 141.3cm^3}}

Hence, the volume of cylinder is 141.3cm³.

___________

SOME RELATED FORMULAE OF CYLINDER.

1) Curve surface area of cylinder = 2πrh

2) Total surface area of cylinder = 2πr(r+h)

3) Volume of cylinder = πr²h
