Given : Cubes , each of side 1 foot

To Find : Volume of the figure

Solution:

Figure has 6 cubes

5 are visible and one is hidden  .

Hence Volume of figure = 6 * Volume of 1 cube

Volume of cube = ( side )³

=> Volume of 1 cube = 1³  = 1 cubic ft

Volume of figure = 6 * Volume of 1 cube

=> Volume of figure = 6 *  1 cubic ft

=> Volume of figure = 6 cubic ft
