Question :
Find the volume of the largest right circular cone that can be cut out of a cube whose edge is 18cm.
Answer :
The volume of the largest right circular cone is 1526.04 cm³.
Step-by-step explanation :
Given,
Diameter of the base of right circular cone = Edge of cube = 18 cm
Radius = r = 18/2 = 9 cm
Height of the right circular cone = Edge of cube = 18 cm
Volume of right circular cone -
⇒ ⅓ πr²h cu. units
⇒ ⅓ × 3.14 × 9 × 9 × 18 cm³
⇒ 1526.04 cm³ (approximate)

Hey mate,
See the attachment above ⤴ for your reference,
So,
The base of the cone will act as a circle inscribed in a face of cube,
Height = edge of cube
We know,
Edge of cube = 18 cm
So radius of base = 9 cm
Height = 18 cm
We know,
Volume of the cone = 1/3*pie*r^2*h
= 1/3*22/7*9*9*18
= 1527.42 cm^3 (approx)
Hope this helps you out!
