Step-by-step explanation:

The external dimensions are :-

Length = 80cm

Breadth = 75cm

Height = 60cm

So,the volume of the box with external dimensions is = ( 80×75×60) cm^3

= 360000cm^3

The thickness of the box is 2cm

Then the internal dimensions are :-

Length = 80-(2+2) = 76cm

Breadth = 75-(2+2) = 71cm

Height = 60-(2+2) = 56cm

The volume of the box with internal dimensions is = (76×71×56) cm

=302176cm^3

The volume of the wood required is :-

= (External volume) - (Internal Volume)

= (360000 - 302176)cm^3

= 57824cm^3
