volume of wood =(60×45×32)-{(60-5)×(45-5)×(32-5)}
=86400-59400
=2700cm^3

Hey mate..
========

Given,

Dimensions of the closed box

= 60 cm × 45 cm × 32cm

Here,

Length of the closed box , L = 60 cm

Breadth of the closed box , B = 45 cm

Height of the closed box, H = 32cm

We know,

Volume of the cuboid = L × B × H

Thus,

Volume of the closed box = ( 60 × 45 × 32 ) cm^3

 = 86400 cm^3

Since the thickness of the wood is 2.5 cm,

The dimensions of the empty area inside the box will be:--

( 60 – 2.5 – 2.5 ) cm = 55 cm,

( 45 – 2.5 – 2.5) = 40 cm

( 32 – 2.5 – 2.5 ) = 27 cm

Volume of empty area inside the closed box

= ( 55 cm × 40 cm × 27 cm )

= 59400 cm^3

Volume of the required wood

= ( 86400 cm^3 - 59400 cm^3 )

 = 27000 cm^3

Hope it helps !!
