Answer: 27000 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

External length = 60cm

External width  =  45cm

External height = 32cm

External volume of the box = ( 60 * 45 *32) m cube

                                             = 86400 m cube

Thickness of wood = 2.5cm

Internal length        = 60 - (2.5 * 2) = 60 - 5

                                                        = 55 cm.

Internal width =  45 - (2.5 * 2)

                                = 45-5cm

                                = 40 cm

Internal height = 32 - ( 2.5 * 2)

                                = 32- 5

                                = 27cm

Internal volume of the box = 55 * 40 * 27

                                             = 59400 cm

Volume of the wood =  External volume - Internal volume

                                  = 86400 - 59400 = 27000.

Volume of the wood = 27000cm
