Step-by-step explanation:

 \huge\fbox\pink{A}\fbox\blue{N}\fbox\purple{S}\fbox\green{W}\fbox\red{E}\fbox\orange{R}

External volume of the box =  60 cm X 75 cm X 30 cm = 135000 cm³

Internal volume of the box ie., inside box dimensions:

      (60 - 2 * 3.5 cm)  X (75 - 2 * 3.5 cm) X (30 - 2 * 3.5 cm)

      = 53 cm X 68 cm X 23 cm

      = 82892 cm³

This is the capacity of the box.

Volume of the wood used to make the box

     = 135000 - 82892 = 52108 cm³
