Given :-

  • Length of cuboid = 6m
  • Breadth of cuboid = 4.5m
  • Height of cuboid = 0.8m

➔ To find :-

  • Volume of cuboid
  • Total surface area of cuboid
  • Lateral surface area of cuboid

➙ Volume of cuboid = length × breadth × height

➙ Volume of cuboid = 6 × 4.5 × 0.8

➙ Volume of cuboid = 21.6m³

∴ Volume of the cuboid is 21.6m³

Total surface area of cuboid = 2( lb + bh + hl )

Total surface area of cuboid = 2 (6×4.5 + 4.5×0.8 + 6×0.8)

Total surface area of cuboid = 70.8m²

∴ Total surface area of cuboid is 70.8m²

Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2( l + b × h)

Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2(6 + 4.5 × 0.8)

Lateral surface area of cuboid = 16.8m²

∴ Lateral surface area of cuboid is 16.8m²

Rectangular solid is called as CUBOID.
