solution: It is quite simple
use the formula Velocity = frequency x wavelength
Given, Velocity = 1.7 km/s = 1.7 x 10³ m/s &
Frequency = 4.2 MHz = 4.2 x 10^6 Hz
Now,
Wavelength = Velocity / Frequency
i.e, Wavelength = (1.7 x 10³) / (4.2 x 10^6) = 404761.9 nano meter
use the formula Velocity = frequency x wavelength
Given, Velocity = 1.7 km/s = 1.7 x 10³ m/s &
Frequency = 4.2 MHz = 4.2 x 10^6 Hz
Now,
Wavelength = Velocity / Frequency
i.e, Wavelength = (1.7 x 10³) / (4.2 x 10^6) = 404761.9 nano meter
