Given coordinates are ( 0 , -3 ) let x = 0 and y = -3.
Put these values in the given linear equation. If the result comes out equal to 0 then the given co-ordinates will be its solution.
So, x - y - 3 = 0
=> 0 - ( - 3 ) - 3 = 0
=> 0 + 3 - 3 = 0 ( +ve 3 and -ve 3 will be cancelled out )
=> 0 = 0
Hence, ( 0 , - 3 ) is a solution of given linear equation x - y + 3 = 0
