Find the weight of cube of mild steel of 14 cm side with its density being 7.8 gms/cc-

Volume of the mild steel = 14x14x14 = 2744

Mass = Density x Volume =  7.8 x 2744 = 21403.2 g =  21.4032 kg

Assuming that the force of gravity, g = 10N/kg

The weight of the mild steel = 10 x 21.4032 =  214.032 N

Density of cube   D = 7.8 gms / cc

According to question

Density   =   Mass /  volume
thus
Mass =  Density * Volume
       M = 7.8 * 14^3
       M = 21403.2 gm

thus weight of cube is  21403.2 gm
