  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

           Given data:- Area of  rectangle is 294m^{2} . and area of length is 21m.

            To find:- Value of the expression.

            Solution:-

  • There are some properties of the rectangle are as  follows,
  1. A rectangle is a quadrilateral.
  2. The opposite sides are parallel and equal to each other.
  3. Each interior angle is equal to 90 degrees.
  4. The sum of all the interior angles is equal to 360 degrees.
  5. The diagonals bisect each other.
  6. Both the diagonals have the same length.
  • We know the formula of area of a rectangle is

             A=L\times W\\W=\frac{A}{L} \\W=\frac{294}{21} \\W=14.

     Hence we will get the value of width is 14m.

As per the data given in the question,

We have to determine the width of the given rectangle.

From the data,

It is given that,

Area =294\:m^2

And, length of rectangle =21\:m

As we know that,

Area=length \times width

So, putting the value of length and area in above expression,

We will get it as,

Width \times ]ength =294\\Width \times 21 = 294\\Width = \frac{294}{21}\\Width = 14\: m

Hence, value of width of rectangle will be 14 m
