Answer:-

  • Width of rectangle = (2√11)cm

Given:-

  • Diagonal of rectangle = 12cm
  • Length of rectangle = 10cm

To Find:-

  • Width of rectangle = .....?

Solution:-

As we know that,

digonal \: of \: rectangle =  \sqrt{ {l}^{2}  +  {b}^{2} }  \\

 {(daigonal)}^{2}  =  {(length)}^{2}  +  {(width)}^{2}

 {(12)}^{2}  =  {(10)}^{2}  +  {(width)}^{2}  \\ 144 = 100 +  {(width)}^{2}  \\  {(width)}^{2}  = 144 - 100 \\  {(width)}^{2}  = 44 \\ width =  \sqrt{44}  = 2 \sqrt{11}  \: cm

Hence the width of rectangle is 2 \sqrt{11} \: cm

Hope its help uh
