Given series : 1,3,7,15,27,63,127.

Answer: 27.

Explanation:

1 * 2 + 1 = 3

3 * 2 + 1 = 7

7 * 2 + 1 = 15

15 * 2 + 1 = 31.

In the question it is given as 27, it should be 31.

Hope this helps!

1,3,7,15,27,63,127
it is made of two series placed alternatively

1,7,27,127
5^0 +2 = 3
5^1 + 2 = 7
5^2 + 2 = 27
5^3 +2 =127

3,15,63
2^2 -1 = 3
4^2 - 1 = 15
8^2 - 1 = 64

so by this logic 1st term should be 3 not 1

neosingh: sorry, but it really depends on the options that are given. What if 27 was not an option
