x and y intercepts of the straight line 10/y+9/x=-8/xy

(10x+9y)/xy = -8/xy

=> 10x+9y = -8

Divide each term by -8 , we get

=> 10x/(-8) + 9y/(-8) = 1

=> x/(-8/10) + y/(-8/9) = 1

=> x/(-4/5) + y/(-8/9) = 1

[Two intercepts form ]

Therefore,

x-intercept (a) = -4/5 ,

y-intercept (b) = -8/9
