SOLUTION:-

• Each point can be specified by an ordered pair of numbers which is a number on the x-axis known as an x-coordinate, and a number on the y-axis known as a y-coordinate.

• As We know that the X-coordinate is the distance of the point (units away) from the Y-axis and the Y-coordinate is the distance of the point (units away) from the X-axis.

According to the question, it is given that the distance between points away from the y-axis is 2.

x-coordinate = distance of the point (units away) from the Y-axis = 2

Hence, the x-coordinate is 2
