Given :-

  • two rational numbers x/6 and -13.

To Find :-

  • Value of x so that ratio becomes equivalent.

SoluTion :-

x/6 = -13

→ x = -13 × 6 [ transpose 6 to right side ]

→ x = -78

Verification :-

x/6 = -13

→ -78/6 = -13

-13 = -13

LHS = RHS

Hence, Verified.
