Answer:

2x² - 50 = 0

2x² = 50

x² = 25

x = +5

So, zeroes of 2x² - 50 are +5 and -5

Hope This helps ☺️

Given

  • f(x)=2x²-50

To find

  • zero of a quadratic polynomial

Solution

\\ \sf→2x²-50)=0\\

Taking 2 common from 2x² and 50

\\ \sf→2(x²-25)=0\\

Transfering 2 from LHS to RHS

 \\\sf→(x)²-(5)²=0/25\\

using Formula (a)²-(b)²=(a+b)(a-b)

\\ \sf→(x-5)(x+5)= 0\\

 \sf{x-5=0 \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \: x + 5 = 0} \\  \sf{x=5\:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \: x  =  - 5}

  • Therefore the Zeros of Quadratic polynomial f(x)= 5 and -5.
