Given polynomial,
3x²+x-2=0

3x²+3x-2x-2=0

3x(x+1)-2(x+1)=0

(x+1)(3x-2)=0

x+1=0
x=-1
and
3x-2=0
3x=2
x=2/3

The zeroes of the polynomial are -1 and 2/3.

hope it helps
